Use scr.im to get less spam
Leaving your address as plain text in a forum, on social media or on a classified ad makes you an easy target: harvesting robots crawl those pages constantly, collecting addresses to sell on.
So do not post your address. Post a scr.im link instead. joe@email.com becomes https://scr.im/joe, and anyone who genuinely wants to write to you follows it, passes a check no robot can pass cheaply, and gets your address.
